Cibo Labs is delighted to have been selected as one of 3 companies (Cibo Labs, DataFarming and NGIS) to receive $50K in funding from Digital Earth Australia (DEA) Labs. The Australian Government initiative is helping Australian businesses unlock the enormous potential of satellite data to the agricultural sector.
Cibo Labs is currently providing weekly (paddock-scale) pasture biomass estimates over more than 15 million hectares, and the funding is going help accelerate the development of our existing platform using serverless spatial machine learning technologies.
Our platform is going to provide every livestock producer in Australia with access to on-demand satellite monitoring, mapping and analysis tools to support their specific daily management, and emerging market and regulatory requirements relating to pasture management, land condition and vegetation management.
A big thanks to the Geosience Australia and FrontierSI team, Minister for Resources and Northern Australia Matt Canavan, and Federal Member for Groom, Dr John McVeigh.
Congratulations to the DataFarming and NGIS teams who also received funding. We are looking forward to future collaboration aimed at "growing the size of the adoption pie"!
