This initial work has demonstrated the significant potential for the industry to lead an entirely different approach to monitoring, reporting and benchmarking. In fact, we can become a world-leading industry that actively involves beef producers contributing to monitoring, evaluation and reporting (MER) at little or no cost to their business, and most importantly, the incentive that it will improve their profitability and sustainability in the long-term.
