Cibo Labs is now delivering 5 daily updates on pasture status and land condition.
It's been a bit over 6 months since Cibo Labs commenced commercial trials of our satellite imagery pasture biomass services. We started in the north with support from a number of pastoral companies delivering paddock level estimates of pasture biomass every 2-3 weeks over the entire Barkly Tablelands, and this work is continuing to gain support.
In recent months we have been quietly focusing on getting the services running operationally in southern pasture systems with calibration and validation work being completed on properties from Roma in Qld to Tumbarumba in southern NSW.
This week we will be participating in the Digital Forum at Meat & Livestock Australia's Red Meat 2018 conference in Canberra, and on-farm demonstrations being supported by MLA and Carwoola Pastoral.
Cibo Labs will be walking producers through a quiet revolution in satellite remote sensing capabilities, without the hype!
We are now routinely delivering (sub ha) information on 5 daily changes in pasture biomass status and ground cover (minus the cloudy days) at paddock levels, and providing direct feeds into other third party farm management software.
A first in Australia, and perhaps globally.
If you would like to find out more, or get your property into the system, please register your interest through our contact page www.cibolabs.com.au or come see us at the Redmeat2018 trade stall.
